Writing & Storytelling

Reflections on life, survivorship, and the moments that shape who we become.

My personal experience with cancer has given me a unique and intimate perspective on the trauma that health challenges can bring. From surgeries and treatments like chemotherapy, to the ways a diagnosis touches every part of your life, I aim to write in a way that helps you embrace life even through illness. Writing allows me to reflect, process, and share these moments - and I hope my words can offer insight, connection, and understanding for others navigating similar experiences.

Featured Work

“I Can Still Feel It”

My essay “I Can Still Feel It” was published in the Survivorship Issue of Wildfire Magazine, a publication and writing community dedicated to amplifying the voices of young adults affected by breast cancer.

In the piece, I reflect on my diagnosis at 28 and the years that followed - the pain, the resilience, and the ways love and connection carried me through treatment and into survivorship. Writing it gave me the chance to revisit the moments that shaped my understanding of survival, identity, and the parts of myself that stayed with me through it all.

I’m honoured to have been included alongside so many thoughtful and powerful voices in this issue.
