Frequently Asked Questions

I provide virtual psychotherapy for adults and teens across Ontario. While I support clients navigating a range of concerns - including anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues - my work is especially focused on cancer-related care.
I offer therapy for individuals living with cancer, those in survivorship, and caregivers who are supporting loved ones through diagnosis, treatment, or loss. My approach helps clients build emotional resilience, process complex feelings, and find a sense of grounding and meaning during uncertain times.

Getting started is simple. You can reach out through my contact form or email me directly to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This call gives us a chance to connect, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and see if my approach feels like a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first session and I’ll send you intake and consent forms to complete before we begin.

My practice is grounded in both professional expertise and personal understanding. Having lived experience with cancer, I bring a deep empathy to the therapeutic space. I combine that insight with evidence-based approaches - such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices - to help clients navigate emotional pain with compassion, clarity, and hope.
Whether you’re facing a new diagnosis, coping with treatment, or supporting someone you love, I’m committed to walking alongside you with warmth and care. -
Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and centered around your unique needs and goals. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered to move toward healing at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore what’s painful, build coping strategies, and work toward a greater sense of calm and connection - even in the midst of uncertainty.

Each session is 50 minutes and costs $150. Psychotherapy services are not covered by OHIP, but many extended health insurance plans reimburse services from a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). I provide receipts that you can submit for reimbursement. Payment is due at the end of each session via credit card or e-transfer.
